Our Client in the Northern Suburbs is looking for a Stores Controller with experience in a technical/engineering environment who will ensure all engineering materials and spares are timeously procured, arranged and stored and also that all identified stock, materials and spares are accurately maintained in the engineering stores with particular emphasis on the critical spares.

Requirements:
N3 Electrical or Mechanical qualification or equivalent.
Must have solid skills negotiating best prices and solid experience with ordering large quantities from suppliers.
Good knowledge of compliance with documentation and procedures.
Basic ability to read and interpret technical / electrical drawings.
Sufficient technical vocabulary to describe engineering spares.
Basic understanding of how machine components operates.
Experience on packaging or FMCG equipment.
Knowledge of machine building and PLC’s.
Good computer literacy essential. Knowledge of Syspro an advantage.
