Job Description

Must work effectively & efficiently in order to meet the company’s KPIs whilst ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.
Must ensure all new & old equipment are correctly serviced/repaired to company standards on time and cost effective.
To ensure all technical problems are attended to within the workshops/field and achieved with the manufacturers on time.
Occasionally, must carry out as pointed out all field product improvements/updates as published by manufacturers.
Must keep track record of travel logs & time sheets
Daily submission of completed timesheets (Wip numbers included), job cards and travel logs.
Identify any accident damage on any contract machine, obtain photos and diagnose the root cause.
Must maintain a clean & well kept van & toolbox when dealing with customers. Must keep professional
Must report to the Contract Manager, customer and customers’ supervisor if any bad driving or damage takes place on a contract or customer’s machine.
Must be part of good people management by ensuring you have a formal balanced scorecard that the required performance reviews are conducted at least twice a year.
Must maintain a good, safe and healthy environment and uphold the company’s standards & policies.
Follow the company’s code of conduct & policies as required
Must protect the companys’ assets & personnel, and to ensure risk management policies are met.
Must send in all claims (commission & overtime included) and standard forms to the Service Admin Manager to process on time (no later than the 5th of every month).
Must ensure all quote request forms are completed with part numbers and given to the Controllers/Contract Managers for daily processing.
Must ensure all load tests & service stickers are completed & updated, and to inform the Controller/Contract Manager if a load test/service is due.
Must ensure all battery voltages are recorded on job cards.
Must ensure all attachments are recorded on job cards with the serial numbers and/or if it is Cascade/Micron.
Must record the tyre wear percentage, chain wear percentage and fork ware percentage on job card.
Responsible to ensure they have the correct skills and knowledge to perform & achieve day to day job requirements.
To ensure that the Controller/Contract Managers receive photos detailing load test date stickers, driver negligence, last service sticker, or any issue that may result in the job not being completed or customer abuse.
Must ensure targets are met (60 sold hours per month).
Must ensure that your Wip meets with the Balance Score Cards & KPI’s - 4 days for internal Wips and 25 days for chargeable Wips.

Must have a Forklift Technical Qualification
Diesel Technician (must have a Diesel/Forklift Mechanical Qualification)
Auto Electrician (Electrical Qualification)
Time management skills (must meet deadlines)
Must have a valid driver’s license
