A highly established company whose offices are based in various countries is looking for a fully qualified and experienced individual with Business Analyst, Project management and IT Management experience to fill the role of a Technology Business Partner so that they can identify, understand and support the needs of the business.



Qualification:

Relevant Tertiary Qualification



Skills & Experience:

Experience in complex global organisation using a mix of in- sourced and out-sourced service providers.

Experience of Technology/business engagement and driving innovation.

External network and awareness of market, industry and technology trends.

Experience of leading, influencing and operating in a complex geographical/functional matrix organisation.

Considerable functional change management experience with advance stakeholder management skills.

Commercial acumen and understanding of Technology architectures and assets.

Leadership of virtual, diverse teams



Job Description:

Develop effective working relationships in order to be a trusted, strategic advisor to the business unit on how technology can be leveraged for innovation and competitive advantage.

Develop in depth understanding corporate strategies, goals and plans and collaborate on translating corporate strategies and needs into clear outcomes for Technology solutions.

Provide the voice of Technology in the business unit and the voice of the business unit within Technology. Provide effective, constructive challenge to ensure that the Group Technology Strategy is implemented effectively in the business unit.

Understand the relevant Technology landscape and proactively drive activities to provide insights to the business unit and to optimize the strategic application of Technology.

Engage pro-actively with the business unit leadership team. Manage the project intake process; help develop plans and investment roadmap and shape ideas and support the development of business cases for new investments.

Lead the Technology function’s contribution to establishing demand, gathering requirements, assessing options, designing and recommending solutions. When required; engage the right resources at the right time from the wider Technology organization following standard global processes.

Contribute to the business unit’s annual budgeting and strategic five-year-planning processes.

Maintain oversight of project / solution delivery and benefits realization.

Pro-actively promote the global Technology operating model. Communicate the entry points and ways of working to enable the business unit to work effectively with the Technology organization.

Select, develop, manage and motivate teams in order to deliver required outcomes. Build and develop the pipeline of talent in line with the Press’s requirements for technical, professional, managerial and leadership capability.
