JHB Training Telesales Consultant focusing on the KZN Clientele

This position involves making and receiving of telephone calls to prospective customers resulting in the monthly, quarterly and annual targets being met.

Job Description:
The position of a Training Sales Consultant entails the following responsibilities:
• Cold calling both telephonically and door to door.
• Sourcing potential clients.
• Making and receiving calls, and closing deals over the phone.
• Setting up of meetings with potential high flying clients.
• Closing the deals with these customers.
• Following up of quotes and requests.
• Ensuring a personal sales target as well as the team sales target is reached monthly.
• Making outgoing calls and onsite visits according to incidents received.
• Following up on incidents and make sure potential customers are contacted within a reasonable time of requesting information.
• Assisting clients to make the correct decision when purchasing training.
• Invoicing of Training and Training Material

Personal qualities:
• The successful applicant must display strong interpersonal and communication skills, and must be customer focused.
• The individual must be target driven with an ability to close deals over the phone.
• Persistence is vital to the sales cycle therefore the incumbent must have determination to succeed.
• Ensuring a solid pipeline is key to success in the sales cycle and it is essential to the success in this role.
• Must be able to work well under pressure in a team environment.
• The individual must be driven to work proactively and creatively to meet and exceed targets.
• Professional Individual.

Skill requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication in business English.
• An understanding of the sales cycle and selling skills is required, together with a working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• A minimum of 1 year sales experience is essential.
• Proven track record in sales and meeting individual targets is critical.
Matric with Tertiary qualification in Accounting / equivalent or busy with
Valid code 08 drivers licence and have your own reliable transport
