We are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales Representative to contribute in generating sales for the company. You will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships. You must have excellent communication skills, well-spoken and have good people skills. You must be comfortable presenting over the phone, dealing with complaints and objections

Duties:

  • Contacting new and prospective clients to inform them about a product or service using a sales script
  • Answering questions about products and the company
  • Asking pertinent questions to understand the customers’ requirements, and close the sale
  • Meet set sales targets
  • Direct prospects to the field sales team as and when needed
  • Enter and update customer information on the database
  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner
  • Handle customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quotas and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note of all useful information
  • Report to Branch Manager with market related information

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Post Matric sales / marketing qualification – Advantageous
  • Well spoken
  • Good people skills
  • 2 – 3 years telesales experience within the food packaging industry (advantageous)
  • Good telephone manner
  • Quick thinker
  • Sales driven

Redhill, DBN

Working Hours:

Mon – Fri: 0730 to 1730 (with 1 hour lunch)

** This is a long term temp contract with the possibility of going perm in time**
