Responsibilities:
• Participate in JAD sessions
• Perform detailed test review of system documentation (FSS)
• Identify, raise and manage issues in system documentation (FSS)
• Provide test estimations for a specific functionality
• Lead test reviews of test requirements
• Extract test requirements from FSS into Quality Center
• Design test cases in Quality Centre by applying different test techniques
• Identify, design and manage test data
• Execute manual test cases
• Design manual regression test packs
• Execute manual regression testing
• Identify test cases for automation
• Log, review and manage defects
• Participate in Defect Management meetings
• Report and feedback to Test Manager on the test progress
• Test Production Maintenance changes and fixes

Education, Skills and Experience:
Im looking for a test analyst to test business functional requirements for the organization’s applications in both test projects and production maintenance releases. This is a 6 month contract position

• IT related degree/qualification or equivalent
• ISTQB or ISEB qualification will be advantageous
• 3 to 5 years Test Analyst experience
• Experience in using HP Quality Centre Test Tool
• Knowledge of SDLC
• Knowledge of software test practices, principles and best practices
• Application of test techniques
• Knowledge of test types (Component Integration Testing, System Integration Testing, Regression Testing, User
• Attention to detail - Good attention to detail with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
• Assertiveness - Ability to convince others of right course of action and to explain a point of view convincingly
• Ability to meet deadlines – Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Commitment to quality – Strong commitment to quality and a thorough approach to responsibilities
