What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the embedded systems manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Linux System Administration
* Writing Code in C to add new features to test system
* PostgreSQL Database Coding and Administering
* System Documentation
* Providing support on testing system

* Ensure Mission Critical System is Operational at All Times
* Ensure Testing is Accurate and Reflects Field Realities
* Adhere to New Dev Schedules and Manage Change Requests Timeously and Accurately

Background work experience:

* 5 years C Coding on Linux
* 5 years Linux Administration (SSH, scripting)
* 5 years SQL on Linux
* 5 years System Architecture (Basic)
* BSc (Pref) / BEng
* C Coding on Linux
* Adding new features and functions to Testing System using C
* Linux administration using SSH and script writing
* Administration and modification of SQL databases using MySQL or PostgreSQL
* Design of basic system architectures i.e. Technical Components and how they fit together
* Advantageous: Specific knowledge of Embedded Testing Equipment
