Position Details:
Act as on-site TMS programmer/analyst for the division;
Act as first line user support for the TMS application
Staff compliment of 120
Key Performance Areas
• Process analyses, design and documentation;
• Programming and implementation of process designs;
• Integration design and programming incl documentation;
• Application version control, installation, configuration and documentation;
• Application first line user support;
• Master data and system integrity check programming;
• User acceptance testing and documentation;
• Application troubleshooting and issue resolution;
• End user training and assessments
Qualification and Experience: Desired Skills and Experience:
Visual Basic 6 (VB6)
.net (VB/C#)
MS SQL (T-SQL)
MS Office
MS SQL DBA
Proven experience in the following:
3+ years of IT systems development & programming;
ERP, WMS or similar application development and support;
Report writing;
Design;
Sales & distribution centre process design;
Systems integration / EDI
Skills and Knowledge
Visual Basic 6 (VB6) – application maintenance and improvements;
.Net (VB/C#) – integration programming;
MS SQL (T-SQL) – report writing and enhancements;
MS Office – documentation and communication;
MS SQL DBA – basic support and maintenance;
Understanding of ERP systems & processes;
Understanding warehouse management concepts & processes;
Understanding basic sales processes;
Experience in user support of software;
Experience in training users in software usage;
Experience in installing and supporting software on a Windows platform;
Experience in analyzing a business process and documenting it;
Experience with creating SQL queries to be used in reports
