Tourplan Content Manager Job became available at well known, luxury tour operating company in Sandton. We require a dynamic, talented and creative candidate to head up the Tourplan Content team.

A good working knowledge of Tourplan
Computer literacy
Excel knowledge
Understanding of commission and mark up structures
People management skills
Numbers, numbers and getting it right the first time – detail matters

Pro-activeness - Initiating and implementing rate loading initiatives
Working toward and maintaining high service levels to in-house customers i.e. reservations and product teams
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, consistent and transparent manner
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Four years’ experience in a tour operating support / system environment an advantage.
KEY OUTPUTS:

Tourplan System Content

Implementing processes for ease of accessing information in Tourplan for consultants and sales team
Ensure rate loading policies and procedures are strictly adhered to
Identifying process changes to optimize loading efficiency and accuracy
Ensuring Tourplan content is fully up to date and accurate at all times:
Rate, offers, child rates, group rates, value adds, etc
Trading terms, policies
Property includes/excludes
Supplier information, contact details, etc.
Overseeing the loading and checking of all of the above into Tourplan
Overseeing rate manual output
Day to day management of rate loading team, their capacity and their outputs
Managing of rate loading logging and delegation
Reporting on team performance, including:
Turnaround times
Rate loading errors
Number of suppliers loaded
Team leave approval and appraisals
Interviewing and hiring new staff in alignment with HR toolkit
Ensure that the team has all the necessary resources at their disposal to perform at their jobs

Start: ASAP

Salary: R 18000 - 24000 CTC, depending on experience and qualifications
