Creditors Clerk
Title: Trade Creditors

Reports to Financial Manager

MAIN TASKS

COMPLETE CREDITORS FUNCTIONS INCLUDING:

Ensuring all documents are valid and authorized for payment
Reconciliation of systems balances with supplier statements
Sorting out queries
Payment of creditors according according to payment terms
Completing payment packs
Managing of CMPL on behalf of suppliers
Any other general admin duties
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

STANDARD OF EDUCATION:

Standard comparable to matric
Tertiary qualification in accounting would be an advantage

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a creditors clerk doing the complete creditors function.
COMPUTER LITERACY

Experience in an accounting package
Good working knowledge of excel is essential
NUMERACY SKILLS

Accuracy with attention to detail is essential
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A GOOD TRACK RECORD WITH REGARD TO CONDUCT, RELIABILITY AND ATTENDANCE AT WORK

SALARY

R16 000 - R 18 000
