Our Blue Chip client currently holds a vacancy for 2 x EE Traffic Managers based in Pretoria.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Passenger Transport / Degree in Transport Economics
• Computer literacy (MS Office
• At least 5 years experience in supervising the operations of a large transport company
• Experience in handling IR issues

JOB OUTPUTS
• Manage and control all traffic, departmental and operational functions.
• Monitor service through auditing of operations of a large transport company.
• Inter-departmental co-ordination and communication
• Market services through liaising with stake holders and other official bodies
• Analyze traffic operational statistics on a daily basis
• Ensure correct implementation of agreed changes to operation
• Ensure continuous market research
• Monitor performance of budget (trends interpretation)
• Control material resources efficiently
• Monitor subordinates job performance

WORKING CONDITIONS
• The jobs involve work for 6 days a week and may require the incumbent to work during public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• The incumbent may be required to work long irregular hours as dictated by the Traffic Operations demand.
• The job also involves long distance traveling to the operational areas.
