Training Supervisor x 4 (6 months contract)

Main purpose of the job

To supervise a team of Community Training Facilitators (CTF’s) and manage the field operations of the project.

Location

Image Offices, North-West Province

Key performance areas

Supervise Community Training Facilitators’ daily activities
Organize field training logistics and ensure availability of supplies for the team. (e.g. Stationery)
Ensure that the quality of the training meets the required standard
Ensure training remains within set timeframes
Coordinate HR related functions for the teams (e.g. leave, performance, contracts)
Coordinate finance related functions in the field (e.g. timesheets)
Complete all monitoring and evaluation documents.
Conduct staff training sessions (new staff orientation, staff mentorship and refresher training)
Establish and maintain networks between IMAGE and external partners / stakeholders at field level
Undertake start-up activities when intervention moves to new area
Participate / support program’s development activities
Generate and submit required reports.
Assist with other ad hoc administration requirements

Required minimum education and training

Grade 12.
Undergraduate degree or Diploma (preferably in social sciences)
Training Certificate in the field of gender related issues or related field.

Required minimum work experience:

1 year experience as a Team Leader or Training Supervisor.

Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities

Fluency in Setswana and English
Excellent supervising and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and in a team is essential
Capacity to generate high quality reports.
Strong leadership, training and problem solving skills.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills
Computer literacy
A valid drivers’ license will be an added advantage
