Qualifications & Requirements:
Qualified CA / MBA / Engineer (From a reputable University; assed Board Exams at 1st attempt)
Has completed articles with one of the Big 4 Audit Firms
10 Years’ experience in the financial services industry preferably managing transfer agency function in Mutual Funds.
Knowledge of Retail Collective Investment Scheme, Long Term Insurance and Retirement Fund industry
Knowledge of Flexcube Investor Services application will be added advantage.
Expert knowledge on Microsoft Office suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have strong leadership and management skills
Stable career history

Responsibilities:
Ensure that daily application processing, valuations, reporting, reconciliations and documentation are completed accurately and timeously.
Manage interaction with other administrative departments in the business.
Collecting commission from the inflow accounts and paying to the relevant brokers.
Generation of annual tax certificates for all unit holders.
Reporting to customers (account statements etc).
Ensuring AML and KYC compliance with regards to the retail client base
Coordinating communication with regulators and tax authorities
Reconciliation of inflows of client funds and allocation of correct units to correct clients
Management of network of brokers, and of all payments due to them for commission and trailer commission
Compilation of reports and statistics including flows, revenue and IFA fees.
Preparation of regular management reports
Presentation of reports to Exco
Reporting to regulators, revenue authorities and industry bodies
Liaising with the trustees and custodians of the funds
Liaising with the portfolio administrators of the funds
Workflow design and implementation
Managing specific projects within the department
Designing and implementing business strategy and plans
Implementation of Process and System controls.
Effective interaction with clients, staff and management
Assisting with recruitment of new staff for department
Setting up performance criteria for staff and evaluation of staff
Management and motivation of staff
Training, development and mentoring of staff
Attending to issues around discipline and grievances
Assigning tasks and setting up structures in the department.
