Transport Controller, DBN-Controlling of the inbound process and planning in order to achieve a 100% on time collection rate.

Key Responsibilities:

Allocate and Control Collections vehicles

Allocate and control drivers

Brief and dispatch drivers in the morning

Monitor collection movement reports statuses

Monitor and control collection vehicles on the road

Give support and solution to drivers struggling with deliveries/Collections

Tracking of drivers on the road using “TrackMatickdevices”and following up timeously

Co-ordinating collections of stock from suppliers to customers

Controlling volumes from customers and In-Houses

Booking Line hauls as per quantity of volumes received from customers

Arranging Ad hock and Express Collections daily

Liaising with customer and confirming the size of collection

Planning the collection vehicle as per requirement

Checking and authorizing return goods authorization (RGA) from status 8 to 10

Controlling and monitoring the transport 24HRS cage daily

Following up on collection vehicles in the workshop

Monitoring and reporting ETA’s of the collection vehicles to the In-Houses

Keeping customers updated on their collection progress

Printing of RGA and allocating according to the routes

Creating manifests for Rlog collections for tracking

Investigate and reporting of the collection/delivery progress to suppliers

Tracking of parcels out on delivery (Freightware)

Call centre reference number issuing

Logging and monitoring of breakdowns

Drafting reports and submitting feedback to management.

Daily floor walks to verify returns Vsupliftment documentation
