• Experience in the Luxury Travel sector as Agent or DMC
• First hand experience of creating tailor made luxury packages for high net worth clients from start to finish.
• Experienced with Amadeus or other GDS system
• In depth knowledge of industry regulations (and operating licences such as IATA), which you apply accurately in your day to day work.
• Sales professional with extensive experience and outstanding achievements in sales with a tour operator, travel agent or concierge travel business putting together flight inclusive travel itineraries.
• Outstanding and in depth knowledge of a wide range of major cities and holiday destinations including industry leading working knowledge of luxury hotels, DMCs and specialist tour operators, and airline services.
• Knowledge of Swiss travel market (incoming and outcoming) including regulations such as Pauschalreisegesetzt, Garantiefonds as well as Tour Operators in Switzerland and suppliers in general (such as hotels, DMC’s etc).
• First hand contacts with a number of key hotels, airlines and ground handling suppliers across the region.
• Sound financial understanding of the travel industry
• Ability to work with and explain terms of conditions related to tickets.
• Knowledge of several destinations, worldwide holiday packages and straightforward hotel bookings across the globe.
