Our large truck dealership client in Johannesburg is looking to employ a Top Aftersales
Manager with excellent truck technical background and an excellent track record.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Service Manager has the primary responsibility to make sure customers receive consistent, timely and accurate service.

KEY OUTPUTS:
- Ensure an efficient and focussed customer service in a commercial vehicle workshop.
- Effectively and efficiently manage the team (Workshop, Service Advisors and Service Admin staff).
- Manage the operations (debt collection, invoicing, quoting, warranty claims, productivity, customer satisfaction).
- Adherence to Company processes and systems.
- To maximizing the efficiency, revenue and productivity of the service department and achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- To take accountability for staff recruitment, training and development.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Aftersales Manager has the primary responsibility to make sure customers receive consistent, timely and accurate service.

KEY OUTPUTS:
- Effective management of the workshop and service department.
- Management of adherence to internal processes, procedures and policies.
- Effective management of budgets.
- Ensures appropriate allocation of work to technicians.
- Ensures work completed meets service delivery and quality control requirements.
- Effectively arranges for the allocation and distribution of outwork to service providers.
- Accurately orders supplies for the workshop.
- Ensure customers needs are understood and resolved.
- Leadership of the team.
- Effective self management and performance ownership.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Qualified Technician with leadership skills.
- Previous experience as a Foremen and/or Team Leader will be advantageous.
- Proven track record of past success and achievements.

- Sound understanding of processes and systems.
- Sound knowledge of company requirements.
- Good product knowledge.

- MS Office (intermediate).
