UNDERWRITER JNR - DURBAN

Area: Durban
Salary: R 8 000 – R 10 000 pm

Requirements:
• Matric,
• FAIS Compliance essential (minimum of 40 credits)
• RE 1 exam completed (or in progress),
• Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, Policy Management system (in-house),
• 3 years’ work experience in Commercial Short Term Insurance,
• Customer service orientated,
• Excellent communication skills,
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• To be responsible for the contact function of dedicated client portfolio’s, in respect of underwriting & renewals,
• Credit control,
• Maintaining and building client relationships,
• Thorough knowledge of products,
• Generate New Business leads,
• Retention and growth of current client portfolio,
