UX/UI Designer

Our client a digital creative consultancy based in Cape Town creates digital products services, platforms and experiences that connect consumers and brands in new ways. Their client base ranges from established international brands, to start-ups from around the globe.

You will be part of a tight knit multi-disciplinary team, who are passionate about creating forward thinking work that is crafted with extreme attention to detail.

You will be assisting the senior team with larger projects while running with your own - all the while continuing explore & push the boundaries in the ever-changing digital landscape.

This position requires a minimum of two years' experience in a digital environment.

Key Duties:

• Responsive website design
• Creation of style guides
• Creation of user journeys, site maps and wireframes
• Mailer template design
• Design updates to existing owned platforms
• Creation of layouts, images, icons, content and motion design

Requirements:

• This position requires a minimum of two years' experience in a digital environment.
• Degree/Diploma in design or related field and or Tertiary qualification in visual design (Multimedia/Graphic design).
• A strong portfolio demonstrating craft
• Highly proficient in Adobe Suite, excellent knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator. Sketch is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Axure, Adobe XD or alternative wireframe software
• Experience designing across a range of platforms
• Good understanding of interaction design and user experience
• The ability to scamp and wireframe new concepts
• A good knowledge of HTML, CSS and animation principles is highly advantageous.
