JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the CEO - Business Financing, the Small Business Analyst’s overall responsibility is to add value to the establishment of the new Vendor Business Finance Department of Ecsponent, by providing information and insight regarding potential / clients and market Ecsponent Business Finance effectively and support business decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, strengthen and maintain strong relationships between Ecsponent and its Clients.
• Develop Data Base of Clients and Partners.
• Monitor Contracts or Agreements within the Vendor Business Department, and liaise with clients on progress thereof.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Follow up on existing deals
• A strong personality to make arrangements with defaulting clients to “Collect” outstanding debt
• Perform a compliance check on all deals before payout
• Verify Purchase orders with relevant companies, municipalities and Government departments
• Do background check on clients and suppliers
• Identify any potential business risks
• Strong Project Management skills
• Updating of systems and deal control
• Knowledge of SMMEs, Parastatals and Government contracting procedures an advantage but not a pre-requisite
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Computer Skills – MsWord, MsExcel, MsPresentation and MsProject
• Report writing
• Negotiation Skills
• Ability to Analyse Figures
• It is a new division and hence various Ad-hoc responsibilities may be necessary. This will be discussed when necessary
• Ability to speak both Zulu and Sotho would be a distinct advantage
• Business background and or Financial degree like a B.Comm would be a distinct advantage as well
