My South African client has an exciting opportunity for an Order Clerk to work within the Orders department. Based in Gauteng this role will be responsible for the co-ordination and processing of all client orders, credit claims and customer queries in accordance with Company Policies, Procedures, Rules, Regulations and Legal Requirements relating to Veterinary Pharmaceuticals.


The key areas of accountability for this role are to:
• Ensure efficient co-ordination of all local and export orders received from clients and the sales department by:
• Accurate and timeous processing of local and export orders.
• Co-ordinating timeous logistics for export and local orders.
• Checking and maintaining accuracy of pricing of products on the ERP system.
• Accurately finalising all accounting entries in their internal program relating to orders.
• Resolve any client queries and manage remedial actions efficiently and promptly.
• Maintain and update the sales orders filing system, including archives.
• Prepare all local and export invoices accurately ensuring correct weight and dimensions are reflected.
• Co-ordinate all documentation relating to supply of export orders.
• Ensure efficient co-ordination of all credit claims by:
• Accurate and timeous processing of all credit claims.
• Co-ordinating timeous return logistic processes for credit claims.
• Investigate and resolve any client queries and manage remedial actions efficiently and promptly relating to credit claims.
• Effective and prompt communication to clients relating to credit claim resolutions.
• Prepare, submit and manage all reports relating to processed credit claims, processed orders and free material (FMR) requests on a monthly basis.
• Prompt and professional handling of all clients calls, demonstrating superior customer service.
• Have a knowledge and understanding of orders for ethical and non-ethical clients.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the client’s price list structures.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the client’s terms and conditions of sales.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:
• A Matric Certificate
• 2 Years’ experience in a Pharmaceutical / Veterinary industry will be an advantage
• Relevant experience in African countries logistics/ export legislation will be an added advantage.
• Microsoft Office Suit (Intermediate level)
• Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (reading and writing) is essential due to client base.
• Good Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to analyse problems and provide solutions under pressure
• Communicate effectively in a professional manner displaying professional telephone etiquette
• Demonstrate active listening skills and assertiveness.
• Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team
