Position: Product Specialist (Technical Sales Representative)

Region: Western Cape

Reporting to: Sales Manager of Coding and Labeling Department

CTC: R250k+ /Annum (+ Commission) (package excludes fuel, maintenance and cellphone costs)
Basic Salary R 11,000 per month
Car Allowance R 4,500 per month
The commission structure is based upon a fixed amount of money per printer sold.
The amount differs with the different technologies, and our core business (Ink jet Coders) is also based upon a sliding scale system that is based on quarterly performance.
The commission averages out at R 10,000 per month if a sales guy sells his required target. (He is expected to sell his target or more)
The suitable candidate should be a responsible person who can work well within a group set-up as well as independently. Preferable age is late 20’s to early 30’s with at least 5 years relevant working experience. The person must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans, both verbal and written. Have good communication skills and be customer orientated.

The minimum requirements are:

? Grade 12 School qualification.
? 5 Years working experience in the field of industrial sales.
? Ability to interact with a broad range of customers.
? Have a good concept of basic calculation principles. (I.e. Gross Profit, Mark-up etc. calculations)
? Must be able to work under pressure and according to preset targets.
? Computer literate with Microsoft Office experience.
? Good administrative skills for timekeeping reports.
? Code 08 driving license.
? Own reliable vehicle.

CTC will include:

? Basic Salary.
? 13th Cheque.
? Participation in Provident fund.
? 50% Payment of company medical aid up to a preset program.
? Travel Allowance that includes Vehicle, Fuel and Maintenance.

Responsibilities:
1) Will report to Video Jet general manager.
2) Will maintain good client relations and confidence.
3) Will maintain a precise record of all his clients and his interactions with them.

Tasks.0
1) Will work for a basic plus commission
2) Will respond to client requirements / leads promptly and effectively
3) Will sell Willet machines in the western Cape.
4) Will report all sales activities in the prescribed manner
