VIP Accounts Manager
Durban based international online marketing company seeks candidates to manage their VIP Key Accounts of the business. The candidate will also be actively involved in driving new business and ensuring superior client services, engagement and support.

The position requires an individual who is good at connecting with people in an outgoing, friendly manner. The use of persuasive communication skills to gain the interest and involvement of others in your work process is an important aspect of the job. To fulfil your job function effectively, an extreme sense of urgency is required, combined with completing your work in precise detail and in accordance with company standards and policies. The motivation for this position comes from a strong sense of duty and a feeling of responsibility and accountability for independently completing work both accurately and efficiently.

A quicker than average work pace is necessary, combined with attention to detail and a results driven attitude. Completion of follow-ups of delegated work must be thorough.

Selling ideas to others and the ability to train, teach, motivate and work with a team are strong aspects of this position. Change is an ongoing occurrence of this job.


Requirements

• Sales/ Customer Service/ Business Management/Marketing qualification

• 1-2 years Customer services experience

• 1 year key accounts management experience

• Ability to build strong relationships with clients with a keen interest in directly impacting the company’s profit margin. Apart from key accounts, ensure effective relationships and communication with Customer Services team, Marketing and Finance teams. The candidate must also be able to bring in new business relationships as well as grow revenues from existing clients.

• Have a good understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce industry and ideas pertaining to lead generation.

• Have an analytic mind-set. Ability to work out simple business financials i.e. profit, losses, forecasts/projections.

• Strategic thinker and ability to plan well – executing tasks in a timely and effective manner.

• Detail oriented – ability to analyse trends in performance across clients.

• Candidate must possess strong relationship/account management and sales skills.

• Ability to build reports on excel, and have good knowledge of the MS Office Suite.

• Should be able to handle high intensity and high performing environment and manage workload efficiently.
