A national leading manufacturing company is looking to add someone with an energetic and flexible personality to their team, this person must be able to work in various areas of the warehouse. You will be responsible for the storage, receipting and dispatch, stock counts and administration.

Requirements:
• Grade 12
• Experience in warehouse storage, receipting and dispatch, stock counts and administration.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office knowledge
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans
• Literacy and numerical abilities to ensure that the warehouse function can run effectively
• Experience in navigating and utilising an ERP system (e.g. SAGE)
• Organisation skills
• Initiative
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving skills

Responsibilities:
• Storage of stock must promote efficient accessibility in a clean environment, taking into account the FIFO principal of moving stock
• Monitoring and setting aside storage space to ensure that stock is always stored in the optimal manner
• Minimize stock losses through increased security measures and monitoring
• Pay particular attention to the security of the stock in warehouses and track stock levels, making sure that stock is stored correctly and safe.
• Monitoring the quality, quantity and accuracy of the stock being receipted and dispatched
• Overseeing and ensuring that the correct product codes are picked and dispatched, resulting in no stock variances thereof
• Ensuring that imports are timeously checked, received and the required administration paper work completed, signed off and sent to head office
• Ensuring that items are assigned the correct stock codes
• Planning delivery & dispatch of goods to internal & external customers
• Ensure familiarity with the company stock count procedure – submitting accurate stock count figures weekly and by the required deadline
• Immediately investigate and report on stock variances to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
• Planning maintenance of the warehouse, premises, vehicles, machinery and equipment
• Implementing continuous improvement plans
• Generate works orders for products for export orders
• Take responsibility for purchasing Durban local requirements
• Confirm receipt of each works order received
• Compile KPI’s on stock variances & stock holding
• Capture all photos taken of each container for export, record them with the seal numbers and of bulk bags, and copy it to the network drive
