Web Designer / Developer
Location: Cape Town
Salary: R15k – R25k per month depending on experience
 
Purpose of the Role:
The Web Designer / Developer will design and code (HTML / CSS) all webpages and marketing collateral for clients.
 
Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar role
• Diploma / Degree specialising in Graphic Design / Art Direction
• Full understanding of and ability to code HTML and CSS (certification preferable)
• The Web Designer / Developer should have an advanced knowledge of the tools necessary to fulfil design and development responsibilities. Must be adept at the following:
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • All other Adobe Creative Suite tools
  • HTML
  • CSS
• Passion for sport and internet marketing.
• Good writing skills.
• Ability to think creatively, strategically to identify and resolve problems.
• Ability to foster strong client relationships at various levels.
• Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
• High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills.

 
Duties:

• Ongoing Website Management
• Optimizing User Interface (UI) design and User Experience (UX)
• Developing Brand Guidelines and Corporate Identity
• Creating responsive Email templates for multiple clients and devices
• Creating Social Media content
• Creating Web Banners
• Designing Print Advertising, Flyers, Pamphlets etc.
• Basic Video Editing for web
