Web Developer

Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

Purpose of the role:
To tackle the multiple challenges of the modern financial services environment, organisations need proven, state-of-the-art software solutions. This position will provide the candidate with an opportunity to take a software concept from research and development through prototyping and production.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, mathematics or related field.
At least 2 years’ experience developing distributed and scalable systems supporting high concurrency and throughput.
Experience with C#, HTML5, JavaScript, MVC, VB.NET and SQL.
Experience with SDK and or API development.

Duties:
Stay on the leading edge of technology by constantly researching and looking for the newest tools and techniques.
Develop software solutions to standard software practices by studying informational needs, conferring with users, studying system flow, data usage and work processes.
Determine operational feasibility through system analysis, problem definition, requirement gathering, proposed solutions and solution development.
Have the ability to create and follow through on a vision whilst bringing others along with them.
Be versatile and always eager to tackle new problems as we continue to push technology forward.
Have the capacity to comprehend both business and technical aspects of a solution.
Show commitment to the success of assigned projects, co-workers and the company.
