A leading IT company based in Johannesburg is looking for an Intermediate Web Developer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design/Implementation of client-facing interfaces (GUI)
• Development of web pages/applications.
• Design applications for both PC and Mobile environments
• Maintenance of existing (PHP) web applications
• Develop client side scripts in JavaScript with AJAX where required.
• Develop web pages that are HTML5 or XHTML1 compliant.

Requirements:

• Computer Science or related degree
• Extensive web development knowledge
• Mobile application development
• Javascript knowledge essential
• Knowledge of web services essential
• Advanced knowledge of XML
• SQL knowledge advantageous
