We are seeking a candidate as a Web Developer to work along with Java developers in designing, developing, documenting and testing various web application front-ends for our in-house Java Spring based systems.   

Duties would include, but not be limited to:

• The design, specification, coding, testing and documenting of Software along with other developers
• The maintenance of Software and Web Front-ends for deployed products
• Providing support to Production and customer support services
• Assisting internal colleagues in the investigation of software and system related problems on existing and new products or solutions

 
Minimum technical requirements:

• A Degree or Diploma in Information Systems or Computer Science
• 3 or more years’ experience
• Strong Web Development background, knowledge of different compilers and languages
• Experience in building wireframes and web design
• Experience consuming REST / Web / Micro-services integrations
• Experience designing and developing using in the following:
• JavaScript
• jQuery
• HTML 5
• CSS 3 + CSS pre-compilers (SCSS / LESS)

 
Additional Skills:

• Experience in the following would be advantageous:
• Git version control
• Server-side HTML rendering (e.g. ThymeLeaf)
• Java (Highly recommended)
• Linux environments
• Angular
• Mobile App development
• MySQL
• PHP
