Web Developer

Our client in the Technology and Innovation sector is seeking to employ a dynamic Web Developer based at their head. Our award-winning products are used in over 25 countries. Our aim is to impact on an individual, community and global level.
Main duties and responsibilities:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-versed web developer to join our team to build and
maintain our suite of websites:
Translate UI & UX designs into HTML, CSS and Javascript websites, with a focus on user experience and usability
Integrate websites with services such as MailChimp, Agile, mail services etc
Attend team meetings and report back on progress
Continuously improve existing websites
Ensure best practice is used in the implementation of websites
Provide input from concept, through design, to implementation phases of websites
Take lead from the expertise of the team lead in terms of code writing style, commenting and release notes
Meet timescales as required by team lead and assist in setting of website development timelines
Work with the marketing, design, sales and project departments to ensure websites translate accurate and required information
Maintain website release note schedule and update team on progress, delays and changes made
Education and/or work experience requirements:

The knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the daily tasks and job duties listed
above include:
2+ years working experience
BSc/MSc/PhD in computer science or other technical discipline
Be proficient in HTML5, CSS/SCSS and Javascript
Experience with Angular / / React /TypeScript is a plus
Strong linux skills is a plus
Well versed in Git
Have an excellent design sense and attention to detail
Be friendly, transparent, articulate and driven to succeed
Deadline driven and efficient
Have an affinity for user experience
Ability to work under pressure and changing conditions
