A newly formed SEO team requires the expertise of an experienced web and graphic designer with strong WordPress skills.

The designer will be required to design, develop, test and deliver approximately 15 WordPress web sites per month. Enhancements and defect resolution will be required on an on-going basis. Best practices and design methods will be utilized to insure the success of the projects. They will be required to have experience in graphics, layout, HTML and PHP.

Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work by tight deadlines, are key attributes of this individual.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and development of approximately 15 WordPress sites per month, as well as maintenance of all sites built.
• Responsible for the design and development of web pages, graphics, logos and multimedia as required.
• Editing of WordPress themes and plugins as required.
• Adhoc design work.

Required Skills:
• Strong WordPress skills/experience, with the ability to build a site from scratch.
• Minimum of 2 years of web design and development experience is required.
• Solid understanding of navigation and GUI for maximizing usability.
• Front-end and some back-end development experience. More important is the experience of seamless integration of front- to back-end functionality.
• Practical experience in development of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, php, graphics creation with Photoshop, Illustrator, (Adobe Creative Suite).
• Basic SEO knowledge/experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Written French highly beneficial
• Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment.
• BS / BA university degree a plus but not required.
