The person should have the following

Have Grade 10
Have a Winding Engine Driver’s Certificate of competence
Have an Onsetter Certificate
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Onsetter / Banksman.

Responsibilities

Executing daily routine work according to legislation, regulations, policies and procedures within prescribed guidelines
Safe shaft transportation of men, material and mineral to support the operation to achieve its objectives and goals
Ensure that Planning of the job is done with his/her supervisor and co-workers on a daily basis.
