Kendrick Recruitment are now seeking a Wine Steward for one of the Top Hotels in the Cape Town Area. This is an exclusive position who will have the privilege of working with the companies Head Sommelier and providing personalised wine and beverage service in line with the establishments guest offering, striving for the highest possible wine culture and unique guest experience. Duties and responsibilities within this position will includeEnsuring set up is done:Lunch, dinner and functionsGlasses, decanters, gueridonWine tastingBar and cocktail setup - equipment, glassware & stock (including stock rotation - FIFO)Daily hosting of tastings for guestsEngaging guests in conversations about personal wine preferences, items on the food menu etc, resulting in wine recommendations, as opposed to mere order taking.
