We are currently seeking an experienced Yoga Instructor to join our team in Purfleet, Essex, United Kingdom.

This position is primarily responsible for designing and instructing safe and effective group yoga class for young and old clients.This position will be demonstrating the fundamental principles and movements of Yoga, observing participants, explaining corrective measures necessary to improve body alignment/posture, balance, flexibility, and provide breathing and relaxation techniques by performing the following duties.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following.Other duties may be assigned.
Creates a quiet and peaceful environment before, during, and after class.
Provides appropriate music for time of day and adjusts volume accordingly.
Communicates with residents after class, gives feedback, and answers questions.
Observes residents and informs them of corrective measures necessary for skill improvement.
Teaches proper breathing techniques used during physical exertion.
Monitors residents progress and adapts programs as needed.
Performs and demonstrates to residents about the various yoga positions and start them off with basic steps.

Requirements
One year certificate from college or technical school or
At least 3-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 1 year or more of experience of teaching older adults
Minimum 200hrs Yoga Alliance Certification
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation CPR certification
