Job Brief
We are seeking an assistant Tasting Room Manager that can assist in creating an immersive experience which captures the imagination and can build an emotive connection between our guests and brand alike

Position Objective

We are seeking a self-starter who has the ideas and drive to assist in the launch and success of our new Tasting Room experience. Candidates must be professional, articulate, hard-working, show strong leadership who can handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for and oversee day-to-day floor operations in the Tasting Room with the core focus of driving sales. The position requires an outgoing, well organised, self-motivated and disciplined individual who is focused on the customer’s experience and driving sales. She/he will make sure that great communication channels are available to the team and assist with overall management of the Tasting Room during working hours to ensure service excellence and that the brand values are always met.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Tasting Room which includes tastings, visitor relations, tours, staff performance and sales
Train and manage Tasting Room ambassadors
Stock management of wine, retail merchandise and tasting room supplies
Partner with wine educators, winemakers and production staff to ensure that Tasting Room staff receive the appropriate level of sales, product and general wine education and training
Coordinate hospitality events, such as consumer tastings, VIP tastings, and wine club events
Appropriately manage purchasing transactions, including operating POS and accounting for daily sales. Ensure that daily cash management controls are correct and complete
Maintain performance metrics to monitor direct sales results locally and internationally
Coordinate shipping to customers and wine club members
Ability to work most weekends and some holidays
