Chef de Partie – Somerset West AND Stellenbosch
Pick Me Recruitment is looking for talented Chef de Partie, with excellent culinary skills and a passion for the hospitality industry to join restaurants in Stellenbosch and Somerset West. A prerequisite is that the candidate resides in the local vicinity of work.
The perfect candidate is someone with a good knowledge of culinary techniques and practices, strong leadership abilities, excellent knife-handling skills, basic computer skills.
Minimum Requirements:
• A diploma in professional cookery
• National Senior Certificate
• Excellent culinary skills
• Experience in hot and cold section
• Excellent operational and leadership skills essential
• Great communication skills
• Focussed, creative and passionate about the hospitality industry
• Strong inventory control
• Able to work under pressure
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Daily food preparation and cooking
• Maintain control of stock
• Ensure compliance with health codes and regulations
• Maintaining cleaning schedules
• Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality and appearance
• Extreme attention to detail
Remuneration: R7 000 - R9 000 pm
Start Date: ASAP
