Duty Manager | Rosebank | 5 Star Boutique Guesthouse

We are looking for experienced DUTY MANAGER to join this upmarket 5 Star Boutique Hotel, located In Rosebank, Johannesburg. The Guesthouse prides itself with newly renovated upmarket rooms, Spa, lush green gardens, indoor hot water swimming pool and state of the art conference facility

As ideal candidate you will have:
Matric
Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality Management
At least 2 – 3 years of previous experience in similar role/environment
Valid RSA ID
Valid driver’s license
Customer Service experience
Knowledge of cash management and bookkeeping procedures
Management skills
Strong organizational skills
Experience with facilities maintenance and/or security
Strong problem-solving skills
Well-spoken and presentable
Attention to detail
Duties and responsibilities
Keep track of Monthly, quarterly and yearly goals
Work with Management to assess and improve processes and policies
Monitor and report on revenue and cash flow
Uphold an enforce company policies
Train new employees
Address employee complaints or performance issues as needed
Check in with employees regularly to determine satisfaction
Schedule shifts
Address customers issues and complaints
Schedule regular maintenance and cleaning of facilities
Meet regularly with upper Management to stay informed on Company Issues
Providing a friendly, welcoming and efficient service to all Guests
To build a good rapport with all guests and resolve any complaints/issues quickly to maintain high quality customer service
To deal with guest requests to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay
To assist in dealing with customer complaints in an effective and courteous manner, providing or seeking solutions as quickly as possible
Salary package offered:
Negotiable depending on experience
