Professional Culinary qualification - Diploma at a accredited Chef's Academy
4 - 5 years Hotel Cuisine experience required.
The Exec Sous Chef has a large amount of responsibility in the kitchen; as such, a person in this particular chef role can easily position
themselves to becoming the Head Chef of a kitchen in time.
Management of the Kitchen in the absence of the Exec Chef.
The executive Sous Chef needs to be able to quickly and authoritatively delegate job tasks to staff.
The Exec Sous Chef must also be able to draw upon their considerate experience as a culinary chef who has worked in many different
roles and settings in order to effectively coach and mentor chefs.
Provide the highest of standards in product, presentation and hospitality to our guests.
Anticipate and respond to our guests with professionalism, discretion and goodwill.

Salary R 18 000 including cottage - Provident Fund & Med Aid 50 % contribution.
