Executive Chef | Limpopo | 4 Star Lodge

We are looking for an experienced EXECUTIVE CHEF to join this well-established and constantly growing Private Game Reserve and 4-star Lodge in the Limpopo area.

Requirement from the Executive Chef
3 – 5 Years’ experience within 4 Star Lodge
Diploma/Certificate in culinary Arts
Valid driver’s licence and own transport
Manage large staff compliment
Good communication skills
Stable work and track record
Good computer skills in MS Office (Work, Excel and Outlook)
Reliable, ethical, confidentiality driven, motivated, sales orientated, honest and passionate
Ability to manage kitchen as a business unit
Duties/Responsibilities
Responsibly for the preparation, cooking and presentation of all food items in accordance with the laid down minimum standard as required by the Company in line with a 4 Star Lodge
Ensure the quality and efficiency of the food service to the customers is at the highest level
Reduce food waste
Labour management
Stock control, budgeting and procurement
Ensure on time deliveries from suppliers
Company Standards is upheld by all kitchen staff
High level of hygiene must always be upheld
Food service areas are maintained
Food management – FIFO
Training of staff to required level of efficiency
Manage customer complaints
Start: ASAP
Salary package offered:
Market Related (Based upon experience and qualifications)
50% Contribution towards medical aid
Live in for single accommodation
Provident Fund 5% of Basic
Meals provided whilst on duty
