Guest Experience Manager

Pick Me Recruitment is looking for a Guest Experience Manager to ensure and provide a flawless, professional and high-class guest service experience, in line with the 'Brand' and property goals. This top-end and sophisticated property is situated in the Winelands Area.

The ultimate aim is to increase brand awareness, both locally and internationally.
It is pre-requisite that the applicant resides in Stellenbosch or Somerset West area. Operational
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Tertiary Education or a strong background in either Hospitality, Events, Retail, or Curatorship of an Art gallery
• Minimum of 5 years‘ experience in a similar position at a high-class or international property
• Strong Brand awareness and experience in high-class service levels
• Excellent communication skills
• Well presented
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
• Proven track record with examples and references
• Senior Certificate

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage all bookings and identify and execute any improvements required to enhance the current guest experience
• Manage bookings processes and operations from beginning to end, including invoicing and guides, Identify areas of refinement in the current processes with the aim to improve in collaboration with the Marketing Manager, establish and manage SOP's
• Support Projects and Policies Relating to Guest Experience. Manage Weekly Guest Experience Status document, driving various protocols
• Oversee and Coordinate Guided Tours. These include scheduling, prices and best practice protocol for bookings, monthly reporting and invoicing
• Manage hosts, Security Guard / Greeter and Saturday Cleaner. Duties would include managing SOP's, recruitment, ongoing training, scheduling and attendance, payroll, uniforms, cover host desk if needed
• Reporting and strategy. Managing bookings statistics, analyse information and results, identifying key markets from the booking statistics, assist the Marketing manager with strategies
• Key Relationships. Managing internal and external relationships including Top Tier Tour agents and suppliers and update data base
• Financial Management. Invoicing, bookings, host payroll, cash / credit card management

Remuneration: R20 000 CTC
Start Date: ASAP
