GUEST LIAISON
Minimum Requirements:
• Matriculation certificate (or the equivalent)
• A Hotel Diploma
• Must be computer literate
• Previous experience within Front Office
•
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the front desk on a shift to shift basis as directed by the Shift Leader on duty
• Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the CLIENT, the daily happenings in the hotel as well as the local area
• Ensure that all guests receive a fast, efficient, professional and friendly check-in and check-out at the front desk
• All customer queries and requests are to be handled in a polite and efficient manner thereby maintaining a consistently high level of customer service
• Ensure that a high level of communication and liaison is maintained between Front Office and all other departments within the hotel
• Make certain that the Front Office Manager and the Shift Manager are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from either the customer or other departments
• Excellent communication skills and great command of the English language
• Excellent interpersonal skills needed for interaction with guests, colleagues and suppliers
• Must have a pro-active mindset and be able to exercise initiative
• A highly resilient individual
