ProStaffSelect are recruiting for a professional and polished Senior Front Office Duty Manager / Guest Relations candidate for this luxury 5-star award-winning hotel in Stellenbosch. We are looking for organised, innovative and experienced candidates who are CURRENTLY employed within 5-star operations.

Are you the ‘face’ and welcome to this multi-award winning brand that can ensure all guests receive a heart-warming welcome and exceptional service throughout their stay? Are you a highly organised individual who can coordinate all front office activities, reservations and guest services?

Minimum Experience and Qualifications Required:
• National Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualification
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Computer literate (Word & Excel)
• 3-5 years’ experience at a 5-star property
• Proven work experience as a Front Desk Manager or Reception Manager
• Excellent knowledge of OPERA hotel management system
• Highly proficient in English (both oral and written)
• Additional Foreign language a huge benefit but not essential

Key Performance Areas:
• Supervise and control all Front of House areas to the standards, maximizing revenues and profits to agreed budgets,
• Ensure all duties and responsibilities carried out in Front Office are in line with the Front Office SOP's,
• Ensure check-in procedures are efficient and to exceptional service standards,
• Ensure effective communications between reservations and all front office staff,
• Ensure all charges are correctly entered on the guest's bill and that the systems is always up to date,
• Carry out regular On-the-Job training with students and new staff as well as existing staff,
• Act as Game Lodge Duty Manager when required,
• Ensure accuracy of all reports and administrative work done on time,
• Prepare and submit annual budgets,
• Monitor trends within the industry and make suggestions for implementation,
• Train, supervise and support office staff, including receptionists and duty managers,
• Schedule all staff shifts in the department,
• Ensure timely and accurate guest service,
• Ensure front desk staff provide a professional and friendly service for guests,
• Deal with guests, handle complaints and queries relating to Front Office as well as other departments,
• Support offered to the Assistant Lodge Manager and General Manager
• Communicate with other departments regarding daily operations.
