HR Manager

To manage, develop, coordinate and administrate all the activities of the Human Resource function in the short and long-term taking into account the requirements of the organisation, trends in the labour field as well as current and pending legislation.

Minimum 5-6 years working experience in a similar role, with at least 5 years at a Senior Management level
Human Resources Management
- Meet/liaise with the MD, Executives and Managers on a daily/weekly basis to ensure correct execution of the human resources functions, meeting all deadlines as stipulated and agreed upon
- Align the human resource functions to the company business plan and identify ways in which the department can function more efficiently and cost-effectively
Network with HR forums, renewable energy industries and build relationships/partnerships to manage/share/compare human resources practices
- Support and facilitate organizational change initiatives, including restructuring processes, BBBEE, Scorecard
- Structure the department, allocating all responsibilities in a way that will best serve the company
- Review and update of the HR Policies as and when legislation is amended, and ensure full compliance
- Monitor employment equity plan and inform the MD and Executive team accordingly, ensuring that the plan meets the demographics as specified in the Equity Bill
- Prepare all relevant HR monthly reports and forward as per deadline
- Review induction programme and amend accordingly to legislation and company vision and mission
