Job description:
This role is responsible to provide a value-added HR service to both management and employees of the Company. The successful incumbent must be able to translate business needs into HR deliverables.

Responsibilities:
• Provide on-going HR support and business partnering, focusing on achieving business objectives by leveraging the HR agenda
• Give input into the HR framework and strategy creation
• Align Group HR requirement with the business unit
• Maintain effective Health and Safety for the business and ensure compliance
• Implement HR projects designed for the business unit
• Provide “hands-on” management of HR requirements to ensure the effective delivery of HR services
• Managing Performance Reviews
• Manage recruitment and selection
• Provide HR consultation to the business on HR issues, i.e. employee relations, workforce planning, diversity, compensation, HR policies, performance and talent management
• Provide IR support
• Handle all HR reporting
• HR Administration

Skill sets required:
• Minimum B Degree in HR/Industrial Psychology
• Minimum five (5) years’ generalist HR experience
• Experience within the financial services industry
• Sound knowledge of BCEA, EE, LRA and OHSA
• Strong experience on IR processes
• Good understanding of the Short-Term Insurance requirements i.e. qualification
• Project Management experience
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Persistent and tenacious, a self-starter who can work unsupervised with the ability to multitask
