Sovereign Foods, a national supplier of top quality chicken products to the SA market via various brands, is seeking to employ a Human Resources Manager for its operations at Kariega (Uitenhage).

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested candidates for this position at the Agriculture Division. The job holder is required to manage Industrial Relation processes, provide professional Human Resources services and advice to the Division, manage the administration of HR processes and employment practices in accordance with the Company’s policies, procedures and practices, and advising on and ensuring adherence to Labour legislation.

The ideal candidate should have a behavioural Degree (B Com Psychology, B Com HR or B Tech HR), a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Practitioner and experience in a unionised HR environment. Professional registration with a recognised HR standards body will be advantageous.
