JUNIOR SOUS CHEF - Award Winning Restaurant - Stellenbosch
Pick Me Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Sous Chef at an award winning Restaurant based in Stellenbosch. The restaurant offers intimate space in an oak-beamed building with just 30 seats and serve a set multi-course menu daily.
The perfect candidates, has exceptional technical skill, strong operational skill and is able to work at a high pace with attention to detail, passionate and hard working.
It is a pre-requisite that the prospective candidate resides in the Winelands area.
Key Responsibilities and Minimum Requirements:
• A Diploma in Professional Cookery
• National Senior Certificate
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Fine Dining kitchen environment
• Able to assist in effectively manage and run a team
• Experience in basic kitchen admin and section orders
• Work well under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, on all levels
• Exceptional work ethic
• Passionate about food production and eager to grow
• Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays
• Computer literate
Remuneration: R12 000 – R14 000:
Start Date: ASAP
