A small coffee shop based in Johannesburg South is looking to hire a kitchen assistant.

As the kitchen assistant, you will assist the chef with multiple tasks including food preparation, packing stock, plating and cleaning the kitchen. This is the ideal position for a person who is passionate about food and aspires to be a chef or grow in the restaurant industry.

The coffee shop is open from Monday to Sunday from 08:30 - 17:00 and working hours will be scheduled during these hours.

You are the right fit if:
- You are a South African born citizen
- You live in Johannesburg South
- You are able to work shifts that fall into the working hours
You are immediately available to start
- You have an understanding of food hygiene
- You have some experience in the kitchen as an assistant
- You have a positive attitude and are willing to learn
