ProStaffSelect are recruiting a highly skilled and talented PASTRY and CONFECTIONERY Chef de Partie to work in this amazing wine farm production kitchen on the R45 just outside Stellenbosch just around the corner from Simonsig Wine Farm. This newly launched bakery and Patisserie is part of an already well-known Deli Brand and production has been increased to produce several traditional French Pastries for the hotel and Restaurant trade.

Due to the location of the farm, all candidates will require THEIR OWN TRANSPORT as there are no taxis or busses that serve this area. We are looking for skilled and passionate pastry chefs who enjoy production and high volume speciality pastries.

REQUIREMENTS:
Own transport with valid drivers' license
Minimum 3 or 4 years experience within advanced PASTRY PRODUCTION / Patisserie
Formal Pastry or Cheffing Qualifications a huge advantage but not essential
Previous experience within 5* Pastry Fine Dining also a big advantage
Candidates must be fluent in English with excellent written communication skills
Able to understand the fundamentals of food wastage, stock controls, and basics of food costing
Willingness to work either early or late shifts (06h00 - 15h00) or (15h00 - 24h00)
Excellent planning and organizational skills
