PLANT ENGINEER
UPINGTON AREA

Requirements:
- The appointee should have B.Eng. degree or diploma with minimum 10 years’ experience in the energy industry of which 5 years must be in a supervisory capacity with a valid GCC.
- Extensive electrical and mechanical experience, strong knowledge and understanding of South African legislation, ISO 9000, OSHACT
- Computer literacy in SAP.

Responsibilities will include:
* Manage and motivate the production team by ensuring efficient and effective use of all resources
* Track and develop a systematic approach towards the improvement in the reduction of planned hours
* Responsible for preventative maintenance planning on all machines
* Administration of the maintenance and production department
* Monitor electrical and mechanical breakdowns
* Ensure that company safety standards are adhered to
?* Apply disciplinary measures in compliance with company disciplinary codes
