Pick Me Recruitment is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for a restaurant situated on an iconic wine farm in Stellenbosch area.

The perfect candidate will show resourcefulness with strong operational, managerial and communication skills and will have the ability to work methodically and have an eye for detail. Must be guest & service centric!

The role consists of daily management restaurant operations, day-to-day administrative and financial duties, working closely with the kitchen team, guest liaison and ensuring standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing front of house restaurant operations
• Help ensure business growth and overall guest experiences
• Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure quality, standards and controls are maintained
• Daily administrative and financial duties
• Daily reporting functions
• The management of Health and Safety and Covid-19 regulations
• Guest liaison and management of overall guest experience

Minimum Requirements:
• Formal Hospitality and Wine qualification will be advantageous
• Strong administrative skills
• Computer Literate
• Ability to lead and manage a team of people effectively
• Strong management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Resourceful and an exceptional eye for detail
• Adaptable to change
• Valid driver’s licence
