Rooms Division Manager.

Business & Leisure Hotel - Vereeniging - Gauteng

The Rooms Division Manager will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the rooms division department

(including Reception, Housekeeping, Guest Services) to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, in line with the hotel strategy and Company procedures.

Education

Grade 12
Hotel School Diploma or equivalent

Experience


5 years experience in a medium sized - Large Hotel Front Office / Rooms Division Management
Management experience is essential

Knowledge of housekeeping including linen control

Key Performance Areas

Develop and implement operational plans to ensure the rooms division departments of housekeeping, guest relations and the front office operations achieve their strategic objectives.
Management and control of the different rooms division departments to ensure they comply with procedures; that they proactively address business requirements and achieve guest satisfaction
Monitor, update and communicate policies and procedures to ensure all staff are aware of what needs to be achieved
Make recommendations to enhance revenue
Work with the hotel and rooms teams to provide a rooms product and standards at the Hotel that exceed guest expectations and meet consumer and cultural requirements
Resolve any guest complaints, disputes and suggestions with timeous and appropriate feedback

Salary R 20 000 per month
