We are looking for highly driven Senior Chef de Partie with experience in a luxurious and focussed environment. This well-known and established restaurant is situated in Franschhoek.

Requirements
*A diploma in professional cookery and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position * strong leadership ability * excellent timekeeping and focussed * a good understanding of wine and food pairing advantageous * driver’s license and own reliable transport.

Key duties and responsibilities
Daily mise-en-place * Maintain control of stock * maintain health, hygiene and safety requirements * orders * proper food storage and rotation * part-take in training of kitchen staff/chefs * maintaining food cost controls * any other duties related to this position * extreme attention to detail.

Remuneration
Our client is offering a market related salary
